Scholarships, Incentives, Discounts & Grants

The Camp Sabra experience is life-changing for our campers, and we want to help every camper who wants to attend, attend! Camp Sabra and the St. Louis Jewish Community Center offer a variety of ways to save money on Camp in order to make sure that this opportunity is available to as many campers as possible.

Operation Summer Camp: Supporting Military Families

Overnight Jewish summer camp is the highlight of the year for countless children and young people across North America. The JCC Association of North America and JWB Jewish Chaplains Council®, with generous support from the Marcus Foundation, are proud to bring the joys and values of Jewish summer camp to Jewish children in military families!

Operation Summer Camp: Supporting Military Families will ensure that Jewish children in military families stationed around the world can enjoy the many pleasures and benefits of Camp Sabra:

  • A “home base” to which to return annually
  • Year-round engagement opportunities and points of connection
  • Friendships that transcend time and geography
  • The opportunity to build a strong Jewish identity and a lifelong commitment to Jewish life

Rising fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth graders who have at least one parent currently on active duty or discharged from the U.S. armed services within the last three years are eligible to apply for a scholarship. Funds will cover the cost of up to four weeks at Camp Sabra for up to three consecutive summers.

If you are interested in applying for this scholarship, please send an email inquiry to Camp Director, Kim Holtzman Sloan at kim@campsabra.com.
