Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of Michael Staenberg, Camp Sabra is thrilled to announce new scholarship and grant opportunities designed to make the transformative camp experience accessible to more children than ever before. This incredible funding is dedicated to ensuring that every camper has the chance to build confidence, friendships, and a strong Jewish Identity with us.
For Summer 2026, we are specifically offering:
The Michael Staenberg 2nd-Year Camper Grant: Up to $850 for returning campers who received a 2025 One Happy Camper grant, helping to make their second summer a reality! Apply Early! Learn more and fill out the Michael Staenberg 2nd-year Camper Grant form here.
Tuition-Free, Need-Based Scholarships: Thanks to the generosity of Michael Staenberg, up to 10 Full-tuition awards will be given to 1o deserving campers to ensure financial circumstances never prevent a child from experiencing the magic of Camp Sabra.

Families interested in being considered, must complete Camp Sabra’s standard scholarship assistance application.

One Happy Camper
One Happy Camper is an incentive grant for first-time campers given from local partners in conjunction with the Foundation for Jewish Camp. Eligibility requirements differ from city to city. For questions, to find out about your eligibility or to apply, please visit One Happy Camper.
Refer a New Camper
When you refer a new camper who signs up for Camp Sabra, you receive $100 off your camper’s tuition.

Host a House Party!
What do you get for hosting a House Party?
- $100 off your camper’s tuition for EACH new camper who registers for and attends Camp Sabra 2017 because of your House Party
What do you have to do?
- Arrange a date that works for your family (and your prospective families) for a Camp Sabra representative to come to your home (or an alternative venue) to talk about Camp
- Contact prospective families (friends, family members, co-workers, etc.) and invite them to the event
- Be willing to accommodate other families recruited by Camp Sabra staff (space permitting)
