Sabra counselors are hired based on their educational background, camping experience, and the ability to work with children. Many supervisory positions are filled by teachers, graduate students and professional staff holding Masters In Social Work degrees.

More than 100 staff members are carefully selected and trained each summer. A strong Jewish commitment is an important employment criteria. Our staffing objectives help us facilitate living our values in a warm and caring cultural atmosphere.

Sabra Staff are divided into:

• CIT's, entering the 12th grade
• Senior Counselors, entering freshman year in college and above
• Unit Heads and Area Directors, minimum age of 21, with special skills related to camp supervision and specialty areas.
